Overview
This policy applies to all non-members (regular customers) receiving one-time or occasional services from Five Star Landscaping.
Our goal is to provide reliable, high-quality service while keeping expectations clear for both parties.
🌱 Scope of Lawn Service
Standard lawn service includes:
- Mowing front and back yard
- Edging along sidewalks and driveways
- Weed eating (string trimming)
- Blowing off hard surfaces (driveways, sidewalks, patios)
Not included (additional cost):
- Bagging or hauling clippings
- Leaf cleanups
- Bush trimming or hedge work
- Flower bed maintenance
- Debris removal
⚠️ Overgrown Lawn Policy
Lawns that are excessively overgrown or not maintained will require additional labor and will be charged an overgrown fee.
This fee is based on:
- Grass height
- Property condition
- Time required
Customers will be notified before service is completed.
📅 Scheduling Policy
- All services must be scheduled in advance
- Same-day service is not guaranteed
- Appointments are first-come, first-served
- Service dates may change due to weather, workload, or delays
💰 Pricing & Payments
- Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed
- Invoices are sent through Square
- Cards may be saved on file with customer approval
Failure to pay may result in:
- Late fees
- Denial of future service
💳 Deposits (Projects Only)
For landscaping, cleanups, or larger jobs:
- A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to schedule
- Remaining balance is due at completion
🚫 Access & Property Conditions
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing clear access to all service areas
- Removing obstacles (toys, pet waste, debris, etc.)
Five Star Landscaping is not responsible for damage to:
- Hidden objects in grass
- Unmarked sprinkler heads, wires, or fixtures
🐶 Pets & Safety
- Pets must be secured during service
- We are not responsible for pets escaping through open gates
⚡ Service Expectations
- One-time or non-recurring services are not priority scheduled
- Recurring members (Elite Care) receive priority over non-members
- Heavily neglected yards may require multiple visits or higher pricing
❌ Cancellations
- Please provide at least 24-hour notice for cancellations
- Last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee
🔒 Agreement
By booking service with Five Star Landscaping, the customer agrees to all terms and conditions listed above.
